GM Observations
Italy won’t be for long. If Austria is wise, he/she will build a fleet this winter. Otherwise, Austria will be overrun by either England, France, or both. The A/I alliance won’t last against the E/F alliance. E/F took out Germany faster than A/I took out Turkey (due to the differences in their tactics: Germany tried to incentivize France to stop the attack by focusing on defending against France while Turkey defended against both as best as possible).
In related news, England is now in position to finally eliminate Russia and Turkey has finally succumbed to A/I. Italy will be able to last longer but is not in a position to stop E/F from defeating him/her. If Austria sees this, Austria may take SMY next year and try to take over Italy and set up a stalemate position to force AEF. England, however, seems to be almost in position for a solo run. Had England ordered HEL-NTH, England could build an army, convoy it to the mainland, and got in position to attack France. Either England doesn’t see this, prefers a draw to a solo, or is delaying this so that France remains an ally.
Unless France figures out a way to grow, England will get ahead by another center next year and France won’t have any way to press the attack and defend against an English stab. The endgame is shaping up to be very intriguing.

It looks like France now sees what I am trying to do and has joined in. We have successfully disengaged in Germany.
Now to see if France and England can stay together and whether we started South soon enough to break through and avoid Austria/Italy setting up a defensive line in time.
France
my fleets remain were they are regarding F Bre and F Por.This makes it very difficult to stab me in a proper way by England.
Sil is vulnerable and I may loose it, see what I can do about that !
Italy
So England does not want a Vowel Alliance.
This could end up being an Austrian solo, if A manages to pick up some pieces of Germany. For Austria to get two thirds of Turkey is a disaster. England has the necessary unit on the other side of the diagonal, but would have to make very short work of France to achieve it. Will we be able to regain Tunis? That could depend on France. England ought to be able to fortify it sufficiently, but that could allow a breakthrough in MAO.

Well, I may have been colossally outclassed here by England and France. maybe I was a bit naïve bearing in mind the quality of my opposition.
So, the latest plan is all out co-operation with Italy to achieve a 4-way!
To this end I am looking to gain ANK to build a fleet in TRI to help Italy. Also, I am moving to keep France under control on my borders.
We shall see…..
Turkey
Got it wrong. I thought England had made a mistake. Instead, England made nice with France and now the two are working together. That is very bad news for Austria and Italy.
Austria had a opportunity to solo, and threw it away. Austria helped Italy take SMY, and in the Fall Turkey will be eliminated. But, Italy lost TUN and Italy (with his poor play) will be a drag on Austria. England and France are both aggressive players. Austria and Italy are very careful, conservative players. The latter have a big challenge ahead of them.
