End-of-1915 recap:

Spring 1916 movement

  • The time has come. This is my first, serious solo attempt.
  • I want to take Norway, Sweden, Tunis and Warsaw.
  • I have to assume Russia turning against me in Autumn, and hope that Austria is fed up with Russia so that Austria won’t defend Russian centres

Norway:
[Spring] NTH – NWG, Lon – NTH
[Autumn] NWG S NTH – Nor, NTH – Nor

Warsaw:
[Spring] BAL C Kie – Liv, Kie – Liv, Ber – Pru, Mun – Sil
[Autumn] Sil – War, Liv S Sil – War, Pru S Sil – War

The rest is just to cover my centres or block any attacks:

Spring 1916 resolved:

  • All my key moves worked.
  • Turkey doing a good job striking back at Austria!
  • Apparently Turkey doesn’t care about my solo attempt and Austria cannot risk elimination to really stop me; good to see Austria moving armies south
  • Russia is out of position now; the Russian has to either trust Germany to defend Norway together, or trust Austria to defend Warsaw together

Autumn 1916 movement

  • I will most likely secure Norway with Sweden and NTH supporting NWG in
  • Sweden and Tunis already secured
  • Warsaw is a bit complicated; not sure how willing Austria is to defend it for Russia
  • Likely for Austria to try cut support with at Silesia than Russia moving to Livonia. Russia will probably simply hold or try defend Norway
  • I will have Prussia and Livonia supporting Silesia in, and if Austria does not throw both Galicia and Ukraine at Warsaw, I should be able to secure it
  • I want to kick GOL away, but that may risk Piedmont supporting GOL into Marseilles
  • Let’s try supporting myself into ION, then next year (if I haven’t won) I can start invading Italy, and also move on StP

So this is how I will move:

  • NTH S NWG – Nor
  • Swe S NWG – Nor
  • NWG – Nor
