End-of-1902 recap:
Spring 1903 movement
- If Italy moved to GOL then Italy can draw Burgundy attention away from Belgium so that I maybe can take Brest, now I ain’t going anywhere
- Italy may try for Spain, and it’s Spring; I can afford to try support Italy in
- Have to hold Belgium because it may be hard to get back in if France forces it
- In Autumn maybe I can exchange Belgium for Brest if needed
- Even if Italy gets Spain and I get nothing, France forced to disband which makes my life easier in 1904
- Belgium sending the signal to Germany again, hope the German gets it and reacts
So this is how I will move:

Spring 1903 resolved:
- Missed the window to take Brest!
- Not sure what Italy wants; the Italian moved to WMS to signal an attack but then now choose to hold…
- Austria could have taken Venice with ADR and defend it in Autumn
- GvR all out war now, and AvT, supposedly good for me
- What’s the Livonia move?!
- Italy, Austria, Russia and Turkey look glued against each other now
Autumn 1903 movement
- Maybe try for Brest this turn, although unlikely to get in
- NTH poke Norway? Germany has 5 units vs 3 on Russia, maybe should not help
- Trusting Germany so Belgium can move, but not sure where
- Bel – Bur to block France pulling back forces?
So this is how I will move:

Autumn 1903 resolved:
Before builds:
- No idea what Italy is doing; ION hold and didn’t even bother to defend
- And then the half-hearted move to GOL against France
- Turkey is blocked up so Austria can continue attacking Italy for free
- Ideally Germany secure land against Russia first as sea is gridlocked
- France making correct moves (except the meaningless, wrong support from Brest), but I may crack Brest next year
Builds
- Italy: DIsband GOL
- Austria: A Vie
- Italy: Disband Pie
- Austria: A Vie
After builds:
- Honestly no idea why disband Piedmont and keep GOL
- But GOL good for me by keeping France distracted
My macro thoughts at this stage:
- May consider long-term alliance with Austria, especially Germany and Russia equal and their fighting not going anywhere
- But need to finish France before Austria expands too much and locks the Med
- Alternatively, ally with one of G/R (both can work but not this game)
