End-of-1911 recap:

Spring 1912 movement

  • Need to convoy army to mainland in Autumn ; with Russia’s rogue fleet in the Med, I can afford to convoy with ENG
  • HEL cannot cover both NTH and Denmark; I can move to NTH with one fleet and rotate my others, get one into North Africa
  • Unlikely for Germany and Austria to coordinate attack on Marseilles successfully; probably Germany will try force Belgium—I can try kick Germany out of Burgundy and worst case is Belgium retreats and I retake it in Autumn

So this is how I will move:

  • Edi – NTH
  • Liv – Wal
  • Lon – ENG
  • ENG – MAO
  • MAO – NAf

Spring 1912 resolved:

  • My plan is basically successful—bouncing Marseilles, kicking Germany out of Burgundy, pushing a fleet into North Africa
  • Not sure why Russia moved to SKA, but coupled with Silesia the Russian can really help distract Germany and threaten Berlin and Denmark
  • Austria took the safe way to cover TYS, setting back his position

Autumn 1912 movement

  • I just have to not lose Belgium/Holland and support Russia into Denmark
  • Convoy Wales to Brest with support from MAO
  • Don’t mind continue bouncing Marseilles with Spain

So this is how I will move:

  • NTH S SKA – Den
  • ENG C Wal – Bre

Autumn 1912 resolved:

  • Austria NMR! Again, is the Austrian too faint-hearted to endure the deadlock?
  • I guess Russia does not bother checking the orders page…and the Russian is making silly moves without objectives—not trying for German centres, moving back and forth between Silesia and Galicia, attacking Sevastopol…
  • Turkey is turtling as usual
  • This mess somehow makes me even less inclined to draw; they are in disarray and if I get past Germany I have solo chances
  • Although Austria’s NMR kind of made any solo less meaningful
