I’ve heard countless people tell me that the Christopher Nolan / Heath Ledge version of the Joker in “The Dark Knight” (2008) is a more serious, intelligent, political interpretation of the character. But Carnage was saying the same crap in his first story arc. “The Amazing Spider-Man #362” (1992).
Carnage, swinging between buildings like Spider-Man, says “But I feel great! Soon, the whole world will see that the way to freedom is chaos! And the way to chaos is — CARNAGE!”
